Sólarinnarupprás var samið af Láru Ruth Clausen þegar hún var átta ára. Lára Ruth er systurdóttir mín, en ég útsetti síðan lagið og vann það.

Sólarinnarupprás (sunrise) was composed by my niece, Lára Ruth Clausen. I arranged and produced the piece.

Fold - Vísur eftir Sigurð Breiðfjörð, stemma eftir Pálínu Pálsdóttur. Upprunalega útsetti ég bara eina sellórödd við kveðskap Steindórs sem síðan var tekin upp af Stúdíó Sýrlandi á tónleikum á Þjóðlagahátíðinni á Siglufirði sumarið 2009. Síðar útsetti ég fleiri raddir og bætti við upprunalegu upptökuna.

Fold (earth) is an old Icelandic chant. Originally, I arranged just one cello line to accompany Steindór’s chanting that was then recorded live in the summer of 2009 by Studio Syrland at the Folk Music Festival in Iceland. Later on, I arranged more lines and added to the original recording.

Hefring var unnið vorið 2010 uppúr hugmyndum sem ég fékk í desember 2009. Hugmyndin að Sorg kom í ágúst 2010 og var síðan unnið frá janúar 2011 og klárað á Föstudaginn langa það sama ár. Hugmyndin að Von kom í júlí 2012 og var unnið það sama sumar.

I worked on Hefring (old Norse name) in the spring of 2010 from ideas that I had in December 2009. The idea for Sorg (grief) came in August 2010 and was developed from January 2011 until Good Friday that same year. The idea for Von (hope) came to me in July 2012 and was developed that summer.
